Carsington 2011

The Earl Brothers (GBR558) win the 2011 Carsington Open

A good turnout of 10 boats considering the time of year plus the weather forecast was not very encouraging.
However the wind, whilst a little gusty, never really blew much more than a F4 to F5.
The racing was tight at the top on the first day of three back to back races and at the end of Saturday there was only 2 points separating 1st to 3rd.
The Earls took the event by winning the first race on Sunday.
Hmm, perhaps they don't need a new boat after all.........
